Quoting Calvin . That's an amazing build! Not only is the airplane amazing, but I really like how you made the crash very realistic. Also, you should probably take a picture of the non-crashed plane.
Thank you! I will be adding the plane in pristine condition soon.

Quoting Marc dZ I was offered a plastic model of this B17-G when I was kid: it was a Monogram (yes, many years before...), a 1/48th scale model. AND, they'd propose a big dio of a crash landing: it was exactly the same as yours. Amazing work!! It's so hard to create something torn and destroyed. Again, very accurate. Beautiful!!
Thank you!

Quoting Cheryl P Great creation. My dad flew 50 missions on one of those. He recently passed and was the last surviving member of the Geyer Crew.
Thank you! That is very interesting. My grandfather flew a TBM Avenger, and was the only one of his squadron to make it back.

Awesome model! But B-17's were quite durable, I don't think it has enough damage done to it to require a crash landing

Quoting jim mcdonough really outstanding work there, only way to improve on this is to make the diorama larger,my b17 doesnt need to crash to break up lol
I would have if I had more base plates, I used all I had. You're not alone, my B-17 is also pretty fragile. ;D

Quoting Henrik Jensen Fantastic forced landing scene. I fully agree with the previous comments and I can add that the inclined angle of the plane relative to the field, makes the scene much more authentic.

An excellent B-17, nicely presented too. I like the visible studs on this build: covering then up would have made the wings very thick. I think that the various bits of battle damage and the tracks through the field are well built. Great work!
