Man, you would have thought that we'd of found all of these by now...
About this creation
I'm in a one-a-day Lego building frenzy and am chucking these things out as fast as I can (while trying to maintain some degree of thought out quality work). College is almost done!!! (Yeah, for Fall term, don't wreck my moment of joy ; ) ).
Here's a heap of jungle ruins yet to be rediscovered and made famous. Major big shout out to Mark Kelso: On top of being a superb (and highly funny) builder, he's also ingenious. While I was browsing his creations I came upon this http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/53316. Now, I've never been one to throw stuff away and have always wanted to find a good use for those leftover forms for my Lego plants.
Kelso solved it.
Anyway, he's inspired this build and one of the main techniques used in it. So "thanks much Mr. Kelso!".
And on to the build:
Here's some walls for those of you who couldn't tell. You can also see the vine technique a lot better.
Some of the plants that I made and experimented with.
And, what do ya know, Indy's discovered hisself a ruin! (Whoops! Now I have to take back that "waiting to be rediscovered" bit)
Messing with camera focus...
Thanks all for taking a peek. Please leave me ideas, tips and suggestions. I don't aim to be the world's best Lego builder ('cause it ain't gonna happen), but any advise that you can offer is of great help and benefit to me. Thanks in advance!
