With this MOC I tried to replicate one of the most (IMO) spectacular American muscle cars ever: the Dodge Charger Daytona.
This was a limited, high performance edition of the 'normal', street Dodge Charger. Produced in 1969 with the sole purpose of winning the NASCAR races, these beautiful beasts were known as the 'Winged Warriors'. In 1970, they were replaced by a sister model, the Plymouth Superbird.
About this creation
Overall lenght: 23 studs (184 mm)
Overall width: 7 studs (56 mm)
Overall height: 5 bricks (48 mm)
Number of parts: 198
Year created: 2014
I must confess that I don't particularly like those bare studs on the rear wing surfaces, but so far I couldn't find a way around it... :(
It looks like there's always something wrong with the minifigs' proportions!... Is this guy too short or what?!
Hello there. I really like your build! 7 wide is the way to go. 5/5.....and i know your concern AND YES: the minifigures are wrong proportioned. they are either too wide or too short. i also make 7 wide minifig cars. i had trouble with that too, but found a solution (works for me): Lay those minifigs down! click on my profile and check out my builds, i also have a dodge charger you'll be intersted in. best regards, ron.
