ABT LTC Acidity (Based On 9488 + 70003)
The backstory of Acidity is unknown, as she has never explained it. Her first appearance was after the first defeat of Lord Cinder and his army. When he reported back to Alpha Q, leader of the Quintessons, he was very disappointed. He then ordered Acidity, his most loyal servant, to keep an eye on him. However, Acidity does not care for Lord Cinder. To her, he is merely a pawn in a larger scheme. It is also believed that she knows the true identity of Alpha Q, but she refuses to tell even her own comrades. She is the greatest foe to Spectre, for she wields one of the three great weapons. She wields the Blades of Chaos, the first to be created. Spectre wields the Scythe of Perfection, the final weapon of the three. The second has been lost in both time and space, residing in another universe. Her right-hand-man, Star Saber, talks very little. However, when you look into his eyes, you can see that Star Saber has been taken to the point of insanity and has been forced to work for her, perhaps by her own hand. Whatever lies behind the cold, deadly eyes of Acidity could change the universe, and not for the betterÖ
About this creation
Okay, so once again I had a random set lying around in the box where I keep them. I hadnít done anything with it for about two years, so I decided to dismantle it and combine it with a smaller random set that was also in there. The result is possibly the best Transformer Iíve made since Spectre V3. Iíve also decided to canonize this set in Lego Transformers Conquest, along with Star Saber. Anyway, Acidity is an original character that transforms into a Cybertronian aircraft. She can also combine with Star Saber, who has now been revealed to be tortured to the point of submission. Poor Stab Saber. Also, there are now three weapons. Not sure what to call the group. Perhaps the ĎTriadí of INSERTNAMEHERE. Not calling it that, like the Unnamed Alliance. This time, itís getting a proper name. But anyway, thereís so much epicness with this Transformer. Itís robot mode is awesome, itís combined mode is awesome, itís a Fembot, itís got cool swords and itís a study one this time! The designs of Star Saber and Optimus Prime in the ABT line were both flimsy. Night Prowler was the exception, because Evasion doesnít count because he was made with CCBS. But anyway, this TFís a good oneÖ

Okay, to start we have Acidity in her robot mode.

In terms of composition, itís the best Iíve done in ages. The arms and legs line up perfectly.

There is a little bit of kibble on the legs, but the back has none. The wings would be kibble, but they move out on the shoulders.

One really cool thing is the lower torso section, with the wings folding in. Theyíre actually held down by the levers, which is kinda cool.

The head design looks a lot better in real life than it does in the photos. Dunno whyÖ

One really cool thing, as I have mentioned prior, is the wings. They work in a similar fashion to G1 Starscream, with them coming out of the shoulder.

The Swords of Chaos; a weapon just as powerful as the Scythe of Perfection. But if this is the first, and the Scythe is the third, whatís the second? I intend to make the second EVENTUALLY. Give it a year or two, I thinkÖ

Backstory aside, the design on them is really good. Iím confused with the blurry pic, thoughÖ

Ah, thatís better. The swords were pretty much a way for me to get rid of all the remaining pieces.

Acidity looks really powerful holding her swords.

I forgot to take the photos, but the swords can also fit on the two sides of the arms. Then, she can hold her other weapons, which I have taken photos of in general, but not attached.

THE GIFS ARE BACK! YAY! This gif shows the transformation into vehicle mode.

And hereís the incredibly blocky Cybertronian spacecraft mode!

The back section is a bit Shellformer-ish, due to the kibble that covers up the large gap, but the rest is all blocky.

The wing pieces can all be positioned in any way you like. There were a lot of wings in the original set, so it was a slight challenge to put them all somewhere.

Another difficult thing was getting the nose-cone of the vehicle mode to work with so few remaining pieces. In the end, it becomes unnoticeable kibble on the back of the right arm.

From the bottom, you can see the head being tucked away.

In a similar way to the arm attachment of the swords, they can attach to the vehicle mode.

These are the other weapons I was talking about. This one is scanner equipment.

In this mode, it can fly around as a drone.

But then it can transform to be held.

The design is a good way to use up the remaining pieces, especially that pesky Chi crystal.

And this little drone here is technically a triple-changer. This hereís its robot mode; a four-legged turret drone.

The second mode (which I didnít show) is a shield that Acidity can hold. I never photographed that mode, though.

The third mode is combiner mode. This acts as an adaptor, so that Acidity can combine with Star Saber. Itís kinda like those extra pieces on those combiner teams in G1.

You wonít notice it, but Iíve upgraded Star Saber a little bit. Heís a tad more sturdy now in robot mode, but vehicle mode still suffers.

The thing you need to do to combine them is take off the front section of the plane.

Then, the adaptor pegs into the place where the front section was.

And, yet another gif! This shows Acidityís transformation into her combiner mode.

Once transformed, you take the two pegs and peg them into the open bits on the backÖ

Ölike so. Well, not EXACTLY like that.

Itís really like this.

Aaaaaand itís so big it doesnít fit on the actual background because itís too big. This must make the combined mode the largest vehicle mode Transformer I have, because Bitillion still managed to fit on the foam board.

The combined jet mode is really cool. Itís a shame they canít combine in robot mode, but whatever.

One of the best things is that itís sturdy enough to actually hold up without it falling apart.

And thatís it for now. Iím posting a LOT more G1 Micro Transformers soon, and I mean tonnes. Iíve got Swoop, Sludge, Trailbreaker, Prowl, Astrotrain and Blitzwing all build and ready to go. The reason for there being so many is because theyíre so fun, easy and they take so little time. The problem with the final year of High School is that you have no time whatsoever, so MOCing is really hard. The G1 Micro guys take hardly any time, though, so theyíre easy. Anyway, youíll be seeing them soon. Until next time, happy building! :)
