From one of my all time favorite PC games...
About this creation
Billy Blaze, eight year-old genius, working diligently in his backyard clubhouse has created an interstellar starship from old soup cans, rubber cement and plastic tubing. While his folks are out on the town and the babysitter has fallen asleep, Billy travels out into his backyard workshop, dons his brother's football helmet, and transforms into...

In his ship, the Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket, Keen dispenses galactic justice with an iron hand!

The ship, the Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket, as you Keeners all out there surely know, comes with 4 important technical systems:

1. JOYSTICK (from his brother's video game) for Manual flight control.

2. CAR BATTERY (from his Mom's car) to provide Electrical systems power.

3. VACUUM CLEANER (from the kitchen, heavily modified) works as Ion propulsion unit (with carpet height adjustment).

4. EVERCLEAR (from his Dad's liquor cabinet) serves as High energy Fuel.

Besides those systems, the ship's landing legs are fully retractable. They are made of the same indestructible polymer compound as the ship's hull.

The ship's thrusters require very little power. Their maximum speed is about 4300 times the speed of light, or the equivalent of about Warp 9.15 on Star Trek, although the ship is not propelled by a warp core. Warp cores which actually bend the fabric of space and time, are unreliable, dangerous, and inefficient. They were banned by the Galactic Council after a horrible accident involving what is now known as the Infamous Bent Planet of the Invictus Cluster. The BWB's maximum endurance at top speed is about five years.

The lasers are the only weapon with which the ship is equipped. Their maximum range is 4000 km, and are capable of burning through most metal alloys.

The Lego ship version:
I build the ship after official images I found on the web. The problem is, that all these pictures show the ship only in side views, from the left side in direction of flying. So I had to think of, how it would look in 3D and whats on the right side.
Additionally I added the sign on the back of the ship with the writing "I dont brake for Shikadis!".

The Commander Keen minifig is a little bit customized minifig. I painted the 2 eye dots and the nose on a blank white head part.

I was not familiar with this game so I looked it up. Great job on the ship.

Ein echt cooles Schiff, mit ordentlich Schub und Waffen power. Zwar von Bean zusammengeschustert aber sehr effektiv. Ich denke mit dem Joystick hat er volle Kontrolle.
