Goa'uld Ha'tak
The iconic ship from the TV-Series Stargate SG-1.
About this creation
The newest SHIP of the line, the Goa'uld Mothership.
Between all my work on Barad-dr and ... yes ... Barad-dr, I had the need to build something new and something where I have results in shorter time-spans than on BD.
Around mid-September I recognized there is SHIPtember and the fact, that the mothership was on my to-do list for a real long time (around 2-3 years now), the decision was really easy.

So I built in two weeks a whole SHIP. It measures ~ 101 studs, depending from which to which side you measure. The work and figure-process (see WIP-pictures at the end of this post) was some time really tough, caused by the 3-sided geometry and the odd angles.
So far so good, I'll let the pictures speak for themself:

WIP-shots:

Next stop... some progress on Barad-dr!

Hello, your ha'tak and just beautiful. I was wondering if you could give me a list of all the parts that you used. For me to do the same. Sincerely.

I wanted to build this ship for years as well... But now that you have made such an amazing version of it, I feel kind of intimidated... Great job.

TRIANGLE!!! Un-freaking-believable. A triumph of engineering, aesthetics, and out-of-the-box design. Also, with a little repaint, it would be the most Epic Blacktron I mothership out there. Love the use of windows to give it skyscraper-scale, and I really dig the enigmatism (is that a word? it is now) of the design. It's powerful, but alien and inscrutable.

Oh my... I didn't believe that it's even possible to build such a cool Ha'Tak from LEGO. The way you captured this difficult shape is incredible. Really very very well done!

Great to see this huge, strange SHIP on MOCpages. The photos don't really give an idea of its scale at all. The WIP pictures were some of the most interesting of the whole of SHIPtember.

The size of the ship is not even to guess at the pictures. But in the construction phase, you can see the impressive size. And on the basis of many textures as I could make it. A unique work.
