The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show 1964

"You could hardly hear the music over the screams, but two months after the death of a president, the innocent message of "I Want to Hold Your Hand" was not lost on anyone." - TV Guide

A picture of the actual scene

Took this pictures after I dropped it to the ground (was too lazy to move them piece by piece and JUST HAD TO move it all at once) so there's some parts missing I couldn't recover from under the bed. My other brilliant move was taking the pictures on a white background in the first place.

Today also happens to be 45 years since the Beatles released their penultimate album, Abbey Road, no better time to upload this.

Thanks a lot for the kind comments everyone, glad you like it. @JosephC 123 I agree, I wasn't happy with that guitar either but for some weird reason I kept it as it is. @Patrick Heh, I'm just an amateur compared to other miniland builders. Regardless, Cali's waaaaay to far from me. :)

Long live the Beatles!!!!! Yes, I'm a beatlemaniac! =) And I have my share of Beatles this year! Thanks! And very well done! Ps: When I saw it (I didn't read the title), I ask myself "are they the Beatles? Again? Yes!"

The only thing I would say is that McCartney's guitar looks like a banjo, but other than that, a great tribute!

Nice work. Only thing I don't love is the hair, it just looks odd to me. Otherwise looks great. Good luck in the contest.

I found this to be a most splendid build, for this moment in history is close to me in a way, I know not why, yet 'tis in sooth of the very nature of which I have described.

Great job V! My non-Lego wife (but huge Beatles fan) absolutely loved this build. I read there is a job opening at Legoland in Cali for a Miniland scale builder. When I saw that, I instantly thought of you as the perfect applicant! Here is proof why!

Nice build! I was having a little trouble thinking up mine, but it's about finished. It should be up soon. Tomorrow at the latest.
