Destiny ThunderLord
Hello Mocpages, this is the first of many of my upcoming Destiny weapons. This replica weighs around 20 pounds, and is by far the largest and heaviest LEGO model i have every built. the gun is 100% LEGO including the tubes on the sides of the weapon. The in-game model features a light blue finish, which for obvious reasons i had to replace with a different color, i hope you like my choice of colors!
About this creation

The drum-mag actually has some pretty complex internals, my man Zeke helped me on those! the circles on the sides of the magazine wind the ammunition belt in and out of the coiled cylinder. There will me an in-depth showcase of this feature when the video is complete!

The bolt was a pain to recreate, but it turned out fantastic.

The barrels were lots of fun to make, i used lots of curved pieces and they are spot on.

Notice how bendy that tube thingy is, pretty bendy huh? this was achieved with a LEGO technic rubber tube, which goes through the inside of 2x2 circle bricks. completely lego.

Here is a reference picture, compare this with the following! i may have missed a few tiny things but hey, any type of comment positive or negative is appreciated, be sure to point out the tiny things i missed;)

I will still be uploading the rest of the M95 tutorial soon, i have been extremely busy lately! i will also be posting a youtube video for this replica, which i will have a link on this page soon. LIKE IT UP! I SPENT A LOT OF TIME ON THIS CREATION AND I WOULD LOVE SOME FEEDBACK. also, what Destiny weapon would you like to see next?

Wow, this is fantastic! Amazing work! Also, how wide in studs is the handle? I've found the hardest part of making these models is getting the handle down nicely (at least for me :P).

Awesome! But my favorite creation by you is the one I requested: the Desert Eagle with the camo grip. But this one makes a close second. Sorry I haven't been active.. .you may not even recognize me.... I changed my name, deleted most of my creations and added new ones, and left some groups. Anyway, can i request a life sized Hammond from Titanfall? So far, I haven't seen anyone build it.

Quoting Nick Brick Loved seeing this build over on Flickr. It's amazing, builds like this at this scale that don't sacrifice detail and stability. That is, it looks like it's stable. You know first-hand.
very stable! thanks man, more destiny coming very soon.

Yeah, the Lego gun community does seem to be gradually dying. My inactivity is due to the fact that I am having less and less time to build because I am getting older and more busy. Unfortunately so, but that's just the way it is. I actually do have a new gun, I'll probably upload it in a month or so, and I'll be sure to make a very good video of it. After that I have an idea for a pistol to make. I'll keep building, but I'll have to stick with small projects.

Quoting VIPER GUNSLINGER FNV do you get your bricks from Bricklink or from som other place? i have about 4000 pices ranging from the 1990's to last year, but i don't have all the little intresting pices like you do.
I use brick link! Most of my pieces however are from old sets from my childhood!

Quoting Gabor Pauler Excellent shaping. Are the rounds moveable in the drum magazine, or it is just a decoration?
Read the description! The 36 round belt wraps around the inside and coils. The winds on the sides of the magazine move the belt in and out of the mag, just how they would in real life! I will have a video of this weapon and it's functions up soon. Thanks!

Wow, very impressive! To be honest, I will agree that you missed a few details that are on the actual one. But that is completely understandable, because this thing is massive! (And not to mention that in the game it is extremely detailed, nearly impossible to recreate such detail with Lego bricks.) But overall this is truly amazing, you are rising up to the top as a builder!

This no doubt gets 5/5. So awesome and redical! I love it! I think the best feature is the bullets and flash suppressor at the end of the barrel.
