On January 15th 1972 my life and thousands of others of my generations lives was changed forever with the first airing of EMERGENCY. This was what I wanted to do in my life. America's pre hospital care system, then in its infancy was thrust into the spotlight. Fire department based ALS Paramedic programs had proliferated across the US by the time the final show was aired. No other show has done more for this advanced care concept than EMERGENCY. This is my 1/64th scale tribute to this iconic and unequalled show. I sincerely hope that my skills were equal to the task and did justice not only to the LACoFD Station 127 but to EMERGENCY fans everywhere. Please rate and comment both positive and negative. Thank you . Jimmie

It was an amazing experience since my dad and his family (back in the 70's) would watch it every Saturday night. We had to go on a family-business trip to check some heavy equipment (I live in California) and we went to Orange County. When we got there it was closed, and there was a bronze plaque that showed the director and history of the show. We looked through the window and there they were, Squad 51 completely restored and Engine 51 leaking oil (probably powered by a Detroit Diesel) and we were amazed. It is interesting that you were in the F&R service. Oh and thanks, my models are one of a kind due to their motor.
It is amazing that you actually got to see Squad and Engine 51. I never missed a single episode while growing up. Keep up the great work that you do with your one of a kind ship models. |

Awesome moc! I have this show on DVD and I still watch it. My favorite episode is "Snakebite." I have been here once a few years back and unfortunately the museum was closed, but it was still cool to see the real building.
It is amazing that you were able to see it for real. Emergency is my all time favorite show and is the reason I was in Fire, Rescue and EMS in my youth. I appreciate the like and kind comment from a serious E fan like yourself. I checked out your page and really like your motorization of so many great LEGO ships. Count me as a fan of your work. |

You're welcome my good friend and Lego buddy. Was me a pleasure leaving this special 101 smily for you :) That's what I wanted. A big smile on your face! And how's the weather in OZ? LOL. Great to read from you that everything is fine with you and your home. Thank you very much! Was very concerned after I spotted a tornado warned cell on the radar which was heading towards your location. But luckily there was no tornado. Stay safe too. Many greets and hugs back to you and Jill from Julia and I :)
Thanks Sven my friend. You really accomplished your goal of a big smile when I got that like.. We had a few tree limbs down and most everyones yards look like swamps with all the water. Greets and hugs to you and Julia from Jill and me. Stay safe and don't work too hard. |

BOAJAWD and TULFS, that's the right homage here, Jimmie! My MOTD, as I dropt in stumblin' over some comments from you! Just 1 (one) remark: set a like ( you forgot it, maybe, at Nico's MOC ) So he's really talented and a fine guy from the Netherlands! I know him from the LEGO Gallery, where he made famous MOCs: some were a series of co-op builds with many other users there: he assembled their posts and put them together in a big whole MOC, as there was a big museum or they all were on vacation! I noticed that you like his ideas, so it would be great to support him as I received such a nice support as I started! :) Greets, my friend!

Amazing firestation! Lovely on the outside and brilliantly detailed inside. You have to come up with some LEGO fire engines to fit this excellent firestation.
Thank you I am glad you enjoyed it so much . I appreciate your wonderful comments. The whole Idea behind building these stations in 1/64th scale is to prove that LEGOS are a viable modeling option in 1/64th fine scale modeling. I build these stations specifically for the Code 3 apparatus they contain. |

where do you store all of these awesome builds. You could open a lego museum with the stuff you got
I have only posted my four major builds to Mocpages. The rest of my Star Wars collection is on LEGO. com under galleries. I don't post them here because they are unmodified sets. I store all my LEGOS in display cabinets or custom display cases in my living room. I don't know where I am going to put my latest build when I am done with it. |
