Toblerone Class Battlecruiser
In case you're wondering, I couldn't find my name on those new Coke bottles. Made me mad. And I should probably be talking about the MOC.....
About this creation
So, the US needed to replace it's old Ticonderoga class cruisers and the older Arleigh-Burke class destroyers (in other words, they needed a new warship). Of course, Prasad Heavy Industries, being ahead of the curve, was given the contract. We decided to follow the line of the Zumwalt class, and came up with this stealth vessel.

Interestingly, Switzerland approached our company asked if they could purchase ten of these cruisers. I don't know what a landlocked, neutral country would do with such a vessel, but hey, they were really interested. However, at the negotiation table, our people couldn't come up with a fair price. Instead, we agreed that the CEO of PHI would gain unlimited access to the Swiss Chocolate known as Toblerone, and in return, they their cruisers (on a significant discount).

To commemorate the deal, the entire ship class was called, the Toblerone.

Yeah, I actually sat down and came up with all that. Anyways, onwards!

Toblerone class battlecruiser
The ship was designed to be extremely stealthy. The armor in the hull can deflect any sort of projectile, yet absorb radar waves. And it looks cool too...

Toblerone class battlecruiser_0848
BAM!

Some firepower there. It's cool, too....

There are two 20 in Main guns, with a twin, 16in gun located at the stern. Yeah, POWWAARRREEHHHHDAAFUHSOIGUhoisuhg

This image is brought to you by Chinese Intelligence. (Or whatever the Chinese equivalent of the CIA is).

Toblerone class battlecruiser
It looks like it has puppy-dog eyes. That's a tactical advantage.

Toblerone class battlecruiser
The bridge. The brains of the ship. Clearly. It was built using some FANCY techniques. Our engineers collaborated while on the FASTLANE from LA to TOKYO. Something, something...

Toblerone class battlecruiser
Techniques. I mean, someone was bound to figure out it. Probably. I guess you can say that this is SWEET view. Many DELICIOUS angles. Melted chocolate-y goodness. I don't even know...

Toblerone class battlecruiser
You thought I was lying, didn't you.

Toblerone class battlecruiser
The Swiss thew in some Crunchy Almond Toblerone if we included a phased array radar system on board. I took the deal....

Toblerone class battlecruiser
The Toblerone Class Battlecruiser. Creamy Swiss chocolate with honey and nougat.

Yeah, so, as you can see, this was a rather quick one. This was built a while ago, but negotiations involving the chocolate were, tedious. Anyways, I hope you all had a little laugh, and as always, thanks for watching!

Quoting matt rowntRee Those wacky Swiss, does this come with a fold out spoon or is it simply an overpriced triangle of chocolaty goodness? Certainly a more delicious version of the Zumalt design. Floss would sure help with that one. Love the turrets, compact and clever. Like a triangle shaped treat perhaps? Delectable!
Yeah, the Swiss wanted knives that folded out of the deck. Maybe they wanted to use them to go fencing with the enemy? I dunno. Either way, yeah, I felt the Zumwalt design could use some work. It isn't bad, but could be better. Thanks Matt!

Quoting That guy you saw earlier Nice lil ship ;) Modern battle cruisers are all about missiles though. The only guns they have are anti air/missile guns :) Nice work though
True, most ships in the navy now depend on missiles to do the work. However, the US navy has always wanted to have ships that can do sea-based bombardment of land targets. The main guns are less for ship-to-ship combat, more for infantry support.

Quoting manthanboeing MAD Very good stuff, that looks soo much like my Poseidon class modern battlecruiser design, it's not even funny.... maybe i should build that. Question, where are the VLS located?
Hmm, I am intrigued; do get around to building it. The VLS tubes are scattered across the deck; on this scale, I couldn't really include exact details, but I'd imagine they ring around the deck, with the majority being concentrated near the rear...
