My entry for FBTB.net MOC Madness 2014: Steam Wars Returns!
About this creation

From the manufacturer, Sienar Aviation Enterprises:
"The Tesla Induction Engine (TIE) series grants its pilot a marked advantage over the common steam-powered flying craft of our day, and the Interceptor is no exception. The finest engineers at Sienar have combined advancements from a variety of fields into this single aeroplane. The engine is of the most modern construction, being the next stage in development of the famed Tesla coil. The propellors are a proprietary design, derived from modern submersibles and guaranteed for maximum speed and efficiency. The pilot is well-protected by a steel-lined hull. The aero-wings, which give the Interceptor unsurpassed agility, are defended by a steel rib system, which dissipates energy from hostile electric weapons. The Interceptor is armed with a total of ten advanced cannons, which are powered by the engine's electrical charge. In short, if you require the fastest, most maneuverable, most heavily armed aeroplane available today, the Tesla Induction Engine Interceptor is the clear choice."
(This does not imply that Mr. Nicola Tesla is in the employ of the Empire, as it is common knowledge that intellectual property laws have not been well enforced since the early days of the Empire.)

Quoting clayton Marchetti Great looking steampunk tie and I just love the pilot. Excellent work!
Thanks! I tried a helmet that was almost identical, except in grey, and that reminded me of the new Nova Corps minifigures, so I figured I had something good.

Quoting Lucky Leprechaun Great use of the dragon wings!
Thanks! They're actually the sails from the LotR Pirate Ship Ambush, which is why they're printed on only one side... which is kind of annoying but it works.
