Brush 2R
Here's my latest unit for you!
About this creation
Here is Brush 2R, one of the small brush units of the Deerwater County Fire department. It is a 1996 Ford F-350 with a Waterous Pump and a UPF tank installed by a department member. It holds 200 gallons and can pump 250 GPM. It has a front brush guard an a lightbar seated on the roof rear so it doesn't crack or get damaged by brush. This is one of the three units in the department to still hold the white/red colors which were phased out in 2001. The other units are a 1990 Pierce Arrow 4x4 65' Telesquirt and a 1999 S&S/Freightliner FL-80 Medium Rescue.

This is stationed at Station 2 as a reserve unit. It serves the forested area of the county.

UPDATE NOTE: This unit has been re-numbered to Brush 2R due to my realisation that this wouldn't help Station 1 very much. The new Brush 1 will be a Rosenbauer/International WorkStar Mavrick Rural Wildland Pumper-Tanker and Brush 2 will be a small brush unit of some type with a purpose-built rear body.

A simple shot of the rear.

Notes: This was a very simple build and I will most certainly get this in bricks. Credit to CC for the cab, with my few modifications to make it older, and thanks to Brickcity 101 for getting it to me.

Quoting Joe Ramlet Thanks! How so?
It's interesting to me because I don't see very many old Ford trucks on MOCpages.
Hmm, I guess. B1 is based off of this type of unit: http://www.texasfiretrucks.com/wp-content/gallery/1996-booster-2/016.jpg

Quoting Brickcity 101 Nice Joe! But it looks a little too new to be a 96'. Flatten out the hood so there is no slope. (use the while smooth tiles.) And ditch the headlight setup. Go for all clear. Other than that, nice one.
Thanks! I'll do that.
