Dawn of a New Era
About this creation
Name: Sonus
Species: Bio-mechanical Aeonian
Element: Sound and Air
Kanohi: Kanohi Fugam, mask of Ultrasonic Flight
Weapons: Fists, Rocket Saber
Status: Alive
Theme: Goodnight Saigon- Billy Joel
Bio: During the Shadow War, it was decided to create a league of supreme soldiers to help win the war. Tasked with doing so was Dark Aeon, due to being recognized for his work in the bio-mechanical field. In all, approximately 10,000 of these super soldiers were created, each specializing in a different area. Sonus was one of the first of these super soldiers, and was trained in melee fighting and ultrasonic flight. So us quickly figured out how to combine the two, and became known as "the guy who punches a tank at Mach 20". Sonus quickly rose through the program, and was tasked with transporting machinery for a death ray project into space. Fortunately for him, Sonus and a group of other soldiers were in space when Aeos was destroyed. Vowing to avenge is fellow fallen soldiers, Sonus began traveling from world to world, gathering technology to help him reach faster speeds. He eventually heard a rumor of a being who was said to have "technology so futuristic it makes alien tech look like a wheel". Sonus quickly began searching for this being, eventually reuniting with Dark Aeon. The two banded together, and began traveling from dimension to dimension to stop Zenith Shadow.

Right side

His arm design. Looks nice, especially for something made with only two balljoints in the shoulders.

Leg design, similar to the arms

Torso, he even has chest articulation.

Back with sword

Back without sword

The custom head

Custom head side

Vowing to fight for justice.

Folding arms

Break dancing...sorta

Fight position

Iron man pose

Creating something

Ta Da! His sword

Sonus: What do you mean "it's not a sword,"?

*voosh*

Sonus: Of course it is!

The sword hilt

Due to modifications made by Dark Aeon, Sonus is now able to reach a top speed twice as fast as light, enabling him to shift between dimensions. Trust me, you do not want him to punch you at that speed. Makes a very nasty mess. Very. Nasty.

Bye!

Notes:
Now that finals are over for me, I can finally start MOCing again! And for a new moc, this guy is one of my best. Originally, I was going to stick Lego jet engines in his shoulders and feet, but it made the shoulders too wide and I had no way to attach the jet feet. Also, I have (almost) run out of balljoints, so I had to improvise. Coincidentally, I am posting this on Memorial Weekend, and he is a soldier who wishes to avenge his fallen soldier friends. All in all, this was a really fun build, and I plan to use his arm/leg designs in future MOCs.

Fun facts: Sonus is Latin for sound, and Fugam is Latin for flight.

Quoting Toa of Sushi Fantastic concept! I really like your concept of meshing Bionicle with System. My only suggestion to make the shoulders/arms closer to the body.
Thanks! I have already started revamping him, so thanks for the suggestion!

Quoting Evan Botkin Nice work! I like the incorporation of System pieces. His torso seems a bit too skinny but otherwise nice!
Thanks!
