THIS STATION TOOK ALMOST ONE YEAR TO BUILD. ITS TWO STORIES HAVE JUST UNDER 13,000 BRICKS. I MOST DEFINATLY USED THE SNOT TECHNIQUE IN THIS MOC.MY BATT 1 HAS THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES: TOWER 160- LADDER 26- HAZMAT 1- RESCUE 2- BFSU 2 SOC SUPPORT TANKER- SQUAD 1- ENGINE 1- ENGINE 231- ENGINE 34- RAC 4- BATT 1. This is what I believe to be what a multi-company battalion HQ. would look like If the FDNY ran such houses. They do not because local firehouses are what keep response times low in major metropolitan cities. In this battalion 53 firefighters and company officers would staff the A,B, and C shifts. I truly enjoyed the year it took to build this station. I am an avid collector of CODE3 Rigs and will build more as my collection expands. This is also my tribute to the 343 who went in to save others on 9/11 and made the ultimate sacrifice. NEVER FORGET!!!.

I cannot believe that I missed this! This is awesome! The Code 3 fire trucks match the station very well. You should join best fire trucks and stations, this would likely be the best one!
Thank you Scotty. I am glad you liked it so much. With being tied up at work so much (7 days a week) and trying to complete another major station build leaves little time for anything else. I appreciate the invite to join your group and may do so if my schedule eases up at work and I have more time. Right now all effort has to go into this new build. |

At first glance I was like, wow that station is so detailed and those trucks look lifelike! Then I realized those trucks weren’t actually LEGO, lol! You don’t get any points taken off in my book though, the station is good enough on its own and the fact that you built it scaled to non-LEGO trucks is actually pretty cool. I love the bathrooms in the station, a lot of those LEGO accessories (sinks and such) actually seem to fit your scale better. Great job on all of it, though I doubt it would be very practical to have a station this huge, it sure looks cool! > I am glad you liked it, my goal is to prove you can build realistic looking stations for 1/64th scale dioramas using LEGOs. They are also a window into my life in Fire Rescue and EMS. This build is only what an FDNY station would look like if it in fact did run multiple company houses. Local companies are what keep response times low in congested metropolitan areas. But just seeing it is cool. Thanks for stopping by. |

I am just amazed at the way you have blended Lego and Code 3 seamlessly. I have collected Code 3 since 2001 but I have never thought of building a Lego station for any of my 75+ Code 3 rigs. I am glad to see that you have brought Code 3 and Lego together the way you have. Your work is terrific.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I actually got the idea from E-bay seeing so many Code3 sellers back dropping their rigs against Lego fire station sets and seeing the out of scale doors and windows made me think that you could build a great looking station out of LEGOS and it be in 1/64th scale. |

I'm quite a purist and not normally a fan of builds which mix Lego with other elements but I think that it works very well here. You've worked hard to get details in just Lego, especially in the washrooms. The non-Lego elements are the icing on the cake and add details that would be hard (or impossible) to add at this scale, such as those rolls of hoses. You must have been very patient to lay all of those 1x1 tile checkered floors.
I thank you for your kind comments, I am glad you enjoyed my efforts. I found the long hours of laying the tiles very relaxing and enjoyable. I did more research and was able to use fewer non LEGO elements in my EMERGENCY build. |

This is remarkable. One of the most amazing stations I have ever seen. I love how you used the 1/64 scale trucks for this too. The scale is quite appropriate for this build. Especially the garage doors. The size of the bays is perfect. I love all the ammenities the most. The lockers, beds, couches, etc. That level of detail is difficult but you executed it perfectly. Well done sir. Thank you for your kind words and wonderful comments. My current build is LACoFD Station 51 from EMERGENCY. Hopefully it will be done before the end of summer. It too is another 1/64th scale build> I will post to both EB And MOCpages
