It is only mentioned that Herakles is the one who saves Prometheus. I didn't found more or any consistent information about this specific part of the myth. The MOC is the result of how I imagined the rest of the story.
Before the rescue, Herakles had to confront some myth creatures who guarded the temple on the foot of the mountain where Prometheus was chained (I wanted to include the chained Prometheus in the diorama but the lack of pieces forced me to make them separated. The emblem on the minotaur shields and the decorative bird statues on the architecture are to relate to the eagle that torments Prometheus.

Spectacularly detailed and stunningly beautiful. Truly one of your finest. I love the pediment and the columns as well as the design on the wall. If it is possible, could you post some more detail shots. Fantastic!
I like it

Incredible MOC! I just saw this on "The Brothers Brick". I love all of the dark blue and gold sections.
Brilliant stuff. I love the clean feel and the vibrant colors. The architecture is stellar and the landscaping top-notch. I especially love the light bley mini-columns, they're such a cool design. Sweet irregular base, too.
What is there not to adore! It's lovingly touched with dark navy blue, dark read and gold. I love your use of these deep colors, as much as I love your use of brown in your other builds! The columns, the roof detailing and the Greek key pattern are loaded with the Wow factor! :)
I like the wall with the blue arch. The new brickbricks (???) make the wall very nice to look at, while it remains simple. The rocks in front are simple (which is a good thing), the temple is very beautiful. And the minifigs are pretty cool.
