After Stealth Hunter and Silent Strike are destroied (aren't they?) EXO-Fore decide to develope a new generation mecha to against the attack of Meca One. After referene to the design of Armored core, Muv-Luv Alternative, Gundam and Murakumo...etc, here comes the Silent Strike MK-II.....what ever.....7709 Sentai Fortress is my first LEGO set several years ago. I have lot of fun with this set. Actually, this is my first mecha creation. I keep upate it when I learn a new build skill. To memory my first mecha, I try to keep some spirit of Silent Strike and call it Silent Strike MK-II. Hope you like it~

I was big fan of this theme when I was a kid when it first started and I still am and this, this is awesome!!!!! I like everything about, it captures what exo force while also capturing that mecha anime/gundam style. You are awesome for making this!!!!! And is there a way you can tell me which sets/parts were and how it was built, cause I want to make one seeing this. Learn the techniques you used. If that's ok. |

Very nice lego mech, it has a decided exo force feel, but it seems stronger looking, more complex, and more refined. I like the fact that it is brick-built (due to the imperfections and dust on pieces I can tell), which is a rare occurrence today. Keep up the good work! |

At last, I finally found it again after searching through over 70 pages of the 'mecha' category of the search function for Mocpages. After seeing this a few years ago, I can finally post and say that this was easily one of if not the most inspiring mechas I have seen, even to this day. I love the style, resembling an Armored Core character mecha from Armored Core:Last Raven, and is sturdy and very play friendly, thanks to all of the modularity and hidden gadgets, the high amount of pose-ability, and even the fact that it holds a minifigure pilot as well! It inspired me to make my own style of mecha with similar high standards of playability, and whenever I thought I couldn't get it done, I always thought of this MOC. So I have to say thank you so much for creating such an inspiring mecha MOC. My Hoplite V1.7 owes part of its existence to some of the inspiration found in your Silent Strike MK II. You get 5 stars my friend, 5 stars. |

This is really good, I'm mean this is incredible
it almost makes me want LEGO Exo-Force to come back in a new era, called the Legendary Guardian series, where 8 ancient guardian of the Sentai Mountains (half-trained good, half trained evil), who protected the mountain from demons and souls from the underworld (who attacks later in the series), awaken from their slumber, and unlike the original mechs, they have 3 features:
1) they have a Gundam-esc body (head & all) with the chest being the cockpit
2) they have more weapons that are detachable and can be used in different ways
3) (in the storyline) they have souls, so the operator and the machine has to work together in trying to accomplish their goals
and it turns out there are 6 other guardians from across the land (the Red Volcanic Mountains, the Blue Watery Shoreline, the Green Swampy Jungle, the White Snowy Icecap, the Black Rocky Canyons, & the Brown Sandy Desert) that both armies of the mountains need to find, however the Guardians need to uses more energy than the first robots, so both armies need to use them wisely, so it's a big war to find all the Guardians and use them to their will to fight for the mountains
what do you think, would that be a good idea? |

I'm building an Exo-Force mech to go against/with this style and the main difference as of now, is that mine has less armor, and uses an "energy" scythe that can fold up and attach onto the shoulders. I've nicknamed my Exo-Force mech, "Ascended Demon". Mainly due to the head with the horns, but also because the fact in it's final stage, it gets white demon wings.
"Ascended Demon" is still a WIP though. So, I won't make any promises that He'll stay together long.
Thanks for your comment and rate! When you finish your "Ascended Demon", let me know~

SO AMAZING! I love all the playability (modularity, poseability). Epic describes this pretty well. But if there's a pilot, why does it also have a head? The mech itself shouldn't need to see anything.
For technical answer, there are several kind of sensor inside the head which provide some special capability such as night vision, thermostimulative, back view..etc. When you hide behide the cover, the head provide the view for the pilot. For personal answer, I just feel it looks cool~ |

AWESOME build here! Definately can see the Gundam influence and anime mecha in general. I love all the folding parts, especially the swords on the forearms. All-around great mech!
Well, GN sword and V.S.B.R are really powerful and suitable for a built-armed, aren't it? The 90mm Gatling gun of Alex and head vulcan of all Gundam are also very convenient for close combat and anti-missle. Oh,the gold brick on two legs and shoulders are i-field shield..... I also like starwars too. Your mini transformer is really good~ |

Wow! Pretty cool stuff. Nice set of weapons, and a cool style. I think the wing-like structures on the back of the legs should be attached further up, on the lower torso perhaps. The arms are great.
The reason I keep the wing-like booster on the back of the legs is due to it can let the mecha turn the torso to shoot from the side when move forward. Actually, it's the design reference from Muv-Luv Alternative. I really like this kind of design instead of fly in the sky only with a simple jet backpack. I think I took too much photo of the mecha stand on the ground which make you ignore that this mecha is design to fly in the sky. I will take some flying photo next time when available. Thanks for your watching and comment~ |

Very cool mech! I like how well-armored it looks. I can see some influences of Gundam Rasiel from Gundam 00, and of course, the Gundam Exia style swords. I really like the alternate weaponry too--it fits really well. The only thing that doesn't really fit is the cockpit window in the chest. But since its an Exo-Force build, I guess thats alright. Great job on this one--good to see you are still building.
Well, since it's made by EXO-Force, they decide to keep the cockpit design and give the pilot a better view...^_^, at least I add a head for this mecha though EXO-Force seems still not like it, thanks for your watching and comment~ |

This is a beautiful mech, plain and simple. It's has that massive yet graceful feel to it. On top of that it has a great selection of weapons for various missions to boot. I also have to agree that I would not have used the see through canopy either because it looks like the mech's one weak spot. If LEGO had made sets like these for Exo-Force then the line would be on sale today!
I try to make it still playable so I do my best to reduce the weight and strong all the structure. That's why it looks simple at some place. About the cockpit, since it's design by EXP-force, I can just say the pilot will have a better view when battle.....thanks for your watching~ |
