Taris Warzone
Taris - the planet that was bombarded by the Sith Fleet, 300 years ago. This part of destroyed city is now being used as a warzone, by both the Empire and the Republic. Old Republic Era bignette, it's 16x16.
About this creation
Taris Warzone

Taris was an urban planet, which was located in the Outer Rim.
By the time of the Jedi Civil War, the planet was conquered by the Sith Empire,
which quarantined the planet in an attempt to capture Jedi Bastila Shan. The search continued further, but the Sith leader - Darth Malak, was informed about this.
Because of that, he ordered the bombardment of Taris, killing countless of civilians who lived on or visited the planet. This act had huge political repercussions for the Sith, and changed the tone of the rest of the war. Malak wanted to achieve victory at all cost.

A few hundreds of years later, the planet managed to rebuild and recover from this devastation, but never reached the extent of its former glory. Then, the Cold War began,
and the war took place on Taris aswell.
Several of the still-damaged parts of the cities were used as warzones and battlegrounds,
by both the Empire and the Republic.

ERA: Old Republic Era
PARTICIPANTS: Galactic Republic, Sith Empire

Here's a view of the battle.

Darth Magma (yes, my Sith sigfig) uses Force Push on the alien Jedi,
to be sent off into death... I guess.

This Jedi is gazing upon the battle, standing on top of a heavily damaged building.
Looks like it could collapse anytime now..

This poor Imperial fella behind him lost several body parts to the Jedi.
His head, and his arms... You could say a Wookiee ripped off his arms, but it was clearly
caused by the Jedi.

Debris and damaged parts of this "building". (Can't really call this a building anymore now, huh?)

Sith versus Jedi. Even though the Jedi has two lightsabers, my money's on the Sith.

Here's another view of my epic Force Push. Heheh......
I admit, the effect to "hold" the effect for him isn't really good, but I couldn't think
of anything else, esxcept for things that'd be too big.

No, this fire hasn't been here since the bombardment... Doesn't last for 300 years.
This was, in fact, caused by the Republic Flametrooper over there.

Republic Flametrooper about to be sliced.

Overview of the battle..

The structure for the building. This part of the building is not really that damaged,
but the top of this building would be if I made it. Hmprhphfmhzprhzmpf...

Burning debris..

More debris.

The battle from above - don't get too excited 'bout this, it doesn't mean you can fly.

Another overview.

The Galactic Republic

From left to right:
Alien Jedi, Human Jedi, Human Jedi, Republic Flametrooper.

The Sith Empire

From left to right:
Darth Magma (Sith Sigfig), dead Imperial guy, Sith, Sith.

Here's an overview of the battle, without minifigs. #1

That's all for today, folks! Hope you enjoyed it. I'm planning to do many more
Old Republic era MOCs in the (near) future, so stay tuned! Next MOC could be Korriban, maybe Felucia, perhaps a small Endor vignette or something else...

And please;

Thanks in advance!

Quoting Evan Ehrenberg Where did you get the head for the sith on the far right of the lineup?
That's from one of the Arabic temple guards from the Indiana Jones line, the Temple of Doom set.
Quoting Mandalore The Ultimate More like 4,000 years ago buddy..
The Cold War takes place 300 years after the bombardment of Taris, so actually it's 300. :P
