I have spent alot of time above these pictures. Finally, I can say without hesitation that this is the best LEGO Lucrehulk class I have ever seen. You beat (epic) one from Thomas Benedikt with detail accuracy.
DO you think you could guess how many pieces from total 30k are tiles to cover the hull? I'm very tempted to build my own version in this scale because it's matching perfectly with my MIDI-Scale Venator and Invisible hand.
Anyway, really amazing job. This is perhaps the most challenging Star Wars ship to build any you did excellent!
Thanks for your kind words. The dorsal side is covered with about 950 tiles. The ventral side (underside) is not covered with tiles. |

Is there any way of buying its instruction.
How about selling its instruction on website like as Rebrickable.
I really want to have your creation.
It's certainly the most lovable.
Back in the days I never made any digital instruction for my creations. So there is no instruction for this one. And even if I had made one it would be just to big for lets say a LDD program, to generate a useable building instruction for a 30000piece project.
I'll post some digital projects in the near future . Just finding time is the problem.
Anyhow, thanks for the comment |

Beautiful.Dude, the only thing about these big MOCs is that you just cant take em apart. Be4 I had this account, i built a 3 ft. model of the Republic Cruiser. I then needed the peices for another project, and it was so hard to destroy. Is this still together, or have you taken it apart?
I haven't taken it apart and I never will. I've build this one in 4 large parts, that you can even carry around. Recently I've rebuilded the center back (with engines) and I've integrated a carrying device. You can lift one of the towers, put your fingers under "the bridge" and lift it and carry it. I'm quiet satisfied of the result. The ship looks like before but inside it's completely different. I'll try and find some time to make a kind of construction journal somewhere september...and make some pictures of it.

Getting comments from you is magnificent. I got a great deal of inspiration from your ship and with your pictures I had the basic structure. Inside there's nothing to compare, as it is completely build in technic parts. I admire your builds and really hope that you continue making those superb ships. Thanks for the comment |

Paul please let me know what kind of software did You use for this project. This is life and death matter. Hi Tom, I'm afraid that you'll be closer to death than life, but... here it comes. The only software I used is to make the center sphere. It's the sphere generator from Bram Lambrecht and the sphere build from symmetric plates by Bruce Lowell. You can find those building instructions on bricklink (sphere with plates and then do some research). You have spheres with studs on top and spheres in advanced building tech. that have the studs in all directions. That's the one I used. The left and right wings of the ship and the center part were made with a whole technic construction, that I created myself, by just building and rebuilding it... So there's no easy and fast way to build this. Hope that this info will get you started.

I fear asking two things: how long it took you to build that, and how long it took you to collect that many bricks!!!
It took about 2 years building( and rebuilding )it, until I was satisfied. I have been saving this gray parts since an eternity, so I've got more than enough to build other ships in these colours. Thanks for the comment.

WOW OMG man!!!
This is the best lukrehulk i`ve ever seen.
This looks like a special collectors edition of €550,- no really this looks like it should be a set. i can't believe you arent a professional builder (well for me you are:) anyway, very very extremely well build. |

Wow. Impressive work indeed!I've been thinking about doing one of these about a year ago, and these are actually one of the good Droid Control Ships on the site! Theirs about 3 of these on the site that are really worth looking at, and Congrats, your 1 of these amazing creations. Keep up the great work! (EDIT: One thing you forgot, how big is it? it looks huge, but if you wouldnt mind, but to reply or edit the page and post the size? thanks.) -<Pedro>- |
