Ask questions.

Hey Runk, what do you think of changing the name to BioniClub? (Or, "The BioniClub")

Is this specifically a Bionical group? Iím assuming it is, I just wanted to make sure before I leave the group. For those who donít know me, Iím a close friend of Duckie (you may know him as CatDuck or Emperor Duckie or just someone who wonít shut his pie hole about ducks) in real life.

I've got a question for ya. What are people's thoughts on Shapeways Masks? How does the color match compare as well as texture? I'm not concerned with price but don't want to shell out coin for something that looks off.

Will you be interested in some kind of tutorial about my Bionicle builds, like custom torsos or head designs?

What I've heard is that they're really good designs, but I know they're quite expensive. If you're willing to pay and can paint them well(which is necessary as they come white), then it might be a good investment. I have seen people paint them and it smoothes out the rough texture. Personally I like sticking to regular Bionicle masks for mocs, or custom built designs.

You can always use an airbrush like this for scale model building.

Yeah, that's what I did back in 2013 for my Self-MOC Oerstus. Had the luxury of a buddy in my college's War Games Club that had a primo Airbrush. Unfortunately my smart___ had to go and graduate so lol.

Oh, I 110% agree with keeping things homogeneous when it comes to parts and for the most part I have so far but that's why I'm so torn on it and haven't decided. The main reason, for the sake of my own little story, is to have masks that were canon but never physically existed, such as the Mask of Psychometry or a Noble version of an existing Kanohi.

Airbrush is not very expensive. I need to buy one for my own but not for lego.

Idk about new masks that were canon but don't have a mold, but Modalt Masks custom paints preexisting masks that match official lego colors almost perfectly. https://www.modaltmasks.com

I had actually stumbled upon them in my search. Looks like some seriously commendable artistry but like I said, I'm more interested in new models. Times like this I wish I jumped on those blind kanohi packs they sold in year 1

I've been considering using Shapeways for Kanohi with or more medieval look. I haven't decided if I'm going to buy anything though.

"Times like this I could really use a mask of shielding..."

I don't think I was alive either. I got into Bionicle after it had died, and after getting into HeroFactory. Didn't stop me from getting a bunch of old sets and parts though. =P
