Welcome to Round 2 of the LCBTC! Congratulations to the 16 participants that moved on! (You can check here to see if you made it: http://moc-pages.com/group_conversation.php?id=26038&topicid=106040)
Before we get to the categories, please take some time to review the rules: http://moc-pages.com/group_conversation.php?id=26038&topicid=105730
Please format the title of your entry like this:
LCBTC Round 2: [Insert Title Here] or LCBTC R2: [Insert Title Here]
Please include in your description:
1. Your category
2. The name of your opponent and a working link to their homepage or entry (depending on which of you posts first)
3. A link to this group (optional)
You will have 3 weeks to build for this round. The deadline is May 24th 2017, at 11:59 pm eastern time. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
You may edit your text or tweak your builds until the deadline. You may not edit your entry after the deadline, unless you have special permission from a judge.
Round 2 consists of 8 one on one match-ups. The judges will decide the winner of each match-up. The loser of each match-up is out of the running, while the winner moves on to Round 3.

Now for the match-ups and categories!

The Maestro ~ vs. Sam J.:
Surprise Attack: The easiest way to win is if the other player doesn't know the game is on. Conduct a surprise attack on enemy troops and show them who gets the last laugh. If you want to get creative, include some traps - or build a surprise attack on a surprise attack.

Doug Hughes vs. Justin Li:
Stealth Mission: Build an infiltration of a high-security location - the greater the stakes, the better.

gid617 (Kai NRG) vs. Brick Wizard:
Castle Kitchen: In a big castle, there are a lot of people to be fed. Build us your best version of a castle kitchen! Be sure to include essential details such as ovens and roasting pits.

Micah Beideman vs. Marley Mac:
Naval Warfare: To dominate trade by water, one must first become the ruler of the seas. Show two or more ships engaged in full-blown battle. Note that the ships need not be minifigure scale.

Hildigrim Took vs. Reese Hawthorne:
Subterranean Hovel: They're not just for hobbits anymore! Construct your version of an underground house. The focus should be on the interior, though exteriors are most certainly welcome.

Roanoke Handybuck vs. Joel Tyer:
Arthurian Legend: Many of the oldest and most famous medieval stories stem from arthurian legend. Show us your best take on an iconic scene from one of these famed tales.

Garmadon Robert4168 vs. Anthony Ochoa:
Training Camp: Before you can ride a horse into battle with your blade raised into the sunset, you must learn how to wield a sword and stay on the horse. Build a training camp for soldiers, archers, cavalry, or any other medieval military unit of your choice.

Jake Hansen vs. Graeme Straughn:
Epic Voyage: Every discovery is preceded by a journey. Build the most epic journey by sea you can envision. What that entails is up to you, but your entry should preferably include a ship.

Good luck everyone, and have fun building!

Just kind of glad I didn't get the naval warfare category, I think I've done enough ships lately to last me the next month or two, haha!
Congrats to all who passed!

Must my build be specifically castle? Or could I do pirates or something similar. Because, it may be a bit hard to make a medieval boat, seeing as those weren't hugely popular at the time.

Sure they were! If you need to you can look at some of the Colossal castle contest entries, there were quite a few boats entered there.

Hate to be that guy, but I'm going to have to forfeit this round. I'm working on a huge build for my senior project, and the 4 days left aren't enough to make much(especially against a builder like you). Even if I won this round I wouldn't be able to participate in the next one. Can't wait to see what you built though, and good luck in round 3!!!!

Due to technical difficulties, I can't post my entry to MOCpages. I sent ClassicalBricks my pictures and can upload them to Flickr tomorrow if you guys would like to see them.

We'll see how this turns out but I might be DQed for this.

It sounds like you've proven you have finished the build, and you've provided pictures to CB, even if through unconventional means, so my vote (if I get one) would be that you met the intent of the rules! Hopefully you can get MOCpages to work shortly. Let me know if you need help with uploading. I've tried out a few new things recently that helped a lot.
