I completely missed the microscale building contest. I do a ton of micropolis (micro-scale city), though it's mostly my own designs rather than specific buildings around the world. Oh well.

You and me both. Its in the news today just ahead of the calendar of events. The link was http://www.moc-pages.com/group.php/26035 but it's a wee bit late on the 18th now to expect to participate.

I was too busy trying to ignore MELO. Besides, I don't do contests very often so it's rare I'll actually participate in one. Micro is one of the few areas I might be convinced to do as a contest because I build so many things at smaller than mini-figure scale.

What a genius concept. The interviews in themselves are a great reason to read the news. Well done on this issue again! I like where it has come in just 6 weeks.

I think we originally intended to comment on peoples' creations when they were featured in the paper, I'll make sure the staff remembers this plan and that we do our best to do it so you guys are all aware when you're in it!

That would be a good idea, and there was something I was wondering, what if you had a story section, like you talk about a bunch of other peoples story so they have more chances of people reading them?

It's ok! Specifically do you mean that you'd like us to feature interesting stories/MOCs as a type of MOC? Perhaps if you could explain more, and if you had an example that would help!

Well, so the story's would be MOCs, so you could like say (the example is of Wertman8's contenders) And here we have Wertman8's comic style Bionicle story! There are currently (idk sadly) chapters! If you want to read it, here's a link to Chapter 1: (the link goes here)

I agree. A story section would be much appreciated.

And also, they would be a separate section.

Interesting, I feel ya. I want the paper to be inclusive of all types of MOCs, but this actually makes me think that we should simply have one of our rotating monthly featured MOC types be for "stories" specifically. I'll chat with the staff about it. A reason to do it this way is to avoid putting too much emphasis on just one type of MOC too.
