*A shadowy figure creeps along one of the many dark alleys of Helgran. The being seemingly radiates shadow; the only break in the darkness of its form is the moonlight reflecting off a silver mask. It stops, seeming to sniff the air, then turns its head directly north, gazing through the alley walls at some distant prize. It eventually ceases its piercing stare and moves on, trailing a faint blue mist.*

*Fita, a blue-armored blacksmith, steps out of the warm glow of her smithy and observes the night sky.

It had been an incredibly strenuous couple of days for the youthful Agori; a large sum of the Helgran Warriors had been called over to the Van'shu village by the Elder One. The reason for this was beyond Fita's concern; all that mattered to her were the weapons she had to craft for the warriors on such short notice. But it was finally done, and they were off: all that remained to do today was to greet the warm embrace of her bed and duvet.

She gazes into the distance, detecting nothing but a faint blue mist arising from one of the many alleyways of the Helgran Village. She knew little of current affairs, but even she could feel in her bones the troublesome time that would lie ahead.*

Fita sits at a desk in her smithy and reads the letter that had been placed on her doorstep. It was a summon to Van'shu village, the current settlement of the Helgran warriors. As a result of the battle in the Volcano, there were many weapons and armour sets that needed to be replaced, and Fita was seen as the one to do it. She sighed; she was not a fan of traveling, or being too far away from her home. Nevertheless, she resolved to leave in the morning; it would take several days to reach Van'shu village, but the journey would be worth it.*

*A dark silhouette sits hunched over a large metal basin, filled to the brim with blood. The disemboweled bodies of Comers lay strewn around the stone dungeon.*
"Ah... aaaah... I can feel it... the darkness looming overhead..."
*He runs his hand through the blood.*
"My warriors have failed to avert this... no wonder, all that time hunting helpless animals... useless... all of them... Botana is doomed... only I can save it now..."
*He bows his head and drinks deep of the blood.*
"...aaaaahhhhh... yessss... ahahahahahahah... *gasp* ahahahaha- AAACK! NNNNNG- AAGH- YYYAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH! RRRRAAAAARRRRRGHHHH!"
*He transforms into something entirely different. Heavy panting. His voice has changed, with more of a growl to his words.*
"Now... let's get to work..."

Krickarr and Fita stood over two mounds of dirt in the ground. The luscious green hills was a welcome change of scenery to Krickarr's recent environments. Lady Kahkan had already left, telling Krickarr he was always welcome in Kahkan Village. This left just Krickarr and Fita, calmly basking in the quite calmness. Krickarr awkwardly fiddled with a shovel in his hands as he looked at the graves.

"Fotoh told me people would remember me as a hero," He sniffled, "so I intend to make that happen. I'm heading back to Kahkan Village. I'm gonna make sure that nothing like this will ever happen again."

Krickarr shoved the shovel back into the dirt as he turned to leave. After a few steps, he stopped and looked to the ground, he turned back to Fita.

"You're welcome to join me."

No matter what response he would receive, he would smile, as after all of the bitter loneliness and fighting and betrayal, he finally had made a friend.

*Fita looked down to the ground and smiled shyly at this request. She looked back up, her glowing, rich blue eyes meeting his.*

Fita: "Yes- I would like that."

*she paused*

"You're already a hero, Krickarr- I've barely known you and even I can see that."

After years of being called a monster and a myth, it was nice to hear someone say that. Reliving. Just as he had always done, he pulled out his bow and and held it in an offensive stance. He looked to Fita and smiled for the first time in years. He quickly reverted back to a more serious mood. He didn't really know how to respond to the compliment. He guessed old habits died hard.

"We have a lot of road ahead of us, but I'm sure you can tell me all about Helgran village and the Helgran Warriors."

And thus, the two set off down the hill in their pursuit of Kahkan Village as Fotoh and his steed lay peacefully in rest.
