We have finished the judging. However, before you read the scores, I would like to say a few words.

First of all, I am extremely proud of the turnout. There were so many great entries that made us quite happy, but at the same time were difficult to judge. Also, for a few people, this is their first ever major tournament on MOCpages!

Secondly, I would like to thank all the judges for their hard work. They managed to judge all the entries in less than 24 hours!

Also, a huge congratulations to Lobo 630 for getting a perfect score, AND being the most popular entry in the contest at the same time!

Now, for the bad news. Unfortunately, due to the number of entries we got, one and only one person will be eliminated this round.

You may have seen your final score on your entry, but here is the full list if you’re interested. Remember that these scores are out of 50:

Lobo 630 - 50
Geology Joe - 46
Classical Bricks - 39
Lego Predator - 38.5
Jacob Syrups - 38
Marco QM - 37
Mitchell Long - 34
Sam Jensen - 31

Carter Witzenburg - 30
Zachary Baker - 29
C Stucky - 28
Hadden Kurtz - 27
Justin Li - 21
Connor R. - 18
Brennan the Pizzamaker - 16
Ryan Dempster - 14
=====
The one person that will be eliminated is:
Matt Ridgeway - 7

You may notice that Jacob Syrups and Lego Predator are currently tied. Marley Mac, our tiebreaker judge, will be awarding 0.5 extra points to the entry that he thinks is better, so I will update this comment once this is done.

UPDATE: The tie was broken, with Predator just edging past Jacob.

Congratulations to everyone who advanced to the next round. It will be posted very soon.

It's a method of seeding called "High-Low Brackets."
1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14, etc.
This is always what they use in Lego contests here.

You're new and you'll get used to it. You will be playing someone who did much better than you, but since the real MO's have much more entries it's even worse to be on the cut-off line. Usually the top 64 go in, so 64th place would have to play 1st place!

Ok, like you said, I'm new here, so I had no idea how the opponents were paired.... I'll probably spend more time on it, so that I at least have a small chance.. :) and can I just say (with a smile) SAVAGE!!!!! Silly grin :) thx for letting me know... Can't wait to get back from California, so I can start building.... Thx again
