Why keep things you don't need when you can sell them for a good amount of money?

A fun way to say Bump.
And to bump a thread means you boost it to the top of the eight-thread list on the homepage. Specifically, past a certain thread: http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=23775&topicid=100529

March 3rd, 2015: Spambot chloe mcshirmer forever destroys the topics list. Halhi enjoys lovely pleasure of banning her.

Not yet, but if I do, it'd probably be something to do with building a tank.

Here's a few little tablescraps, some of which use semi-interesting techniques. See if you can figure out how they're made :) (if you figure them out or want to see the solutions, PM me on Flickr)

I started using some new techniques with my latest build (still in progress) I'm using a type of panel rock-work i've never done before, I'm also using a irregular base.

Hello there! I'm new to the group!
I rather like the idea behind the group and think it can be of great use not only to new builders but all builders.

For starters here is my old concept of a fully mobile and poseable leg (for the pic of unexploded view, just follow the link in the description of this photo)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/angelo_s/9643408213
It can be used in mechs, large scale figures and sculptures.

Hope to see (and share) some good stuff here!
Cheers! :D

My newest build has lots of new techniques i've never used before. I decided to use some panel rocks and I also did an irragular base. I also used an interistine stair technique.

Yes, definitely, especially with MOCpages malfunctioning so much.

Does anyone have a technique for something like the roof of the top bell tower in this build?

Yep! That's actually really easy. Just get 4 sets of the same slope (2x3, 2x4, 3x6, etc) and use hinge bricks to attach them to a square base. When you bend them inward, the angles will match up with each other and leave a square hole at the top. Just add something to cover up the hole, and there you go!

Okay, I can. But out of curiosity, is doing that part of the rules or something?

No, but seeing as how you did not come up with the design yourself, it is common courtesy. If you make a tower with that roof design because you saw it from Mr. Cab, then he deserves some credit for your inspiration. Kevin then told you how it was done since you couldn't figure it out and so he deserves some credit for helping you.
