Would you like me to name some people that you could invite?

Quick, small question.

My Platypus is a aquatic mammal. Can I add him? Or is this strictly reserved for... well, other stuff?

Your platypus is most welcome to join our group; we are honored to have him! Also, welcome to the group! Hope you enjoy! ;-)

I am working on a big Coast Guard project; I need to ask two things. First off, would I be allowed to put the updates I make for the project in this group, or do you only want the finished project? Second, I need some help with water. The project is going to be a USCG HITRON (look it up) diorama with a go-fast boat and a little bit of shore. I've already looked at the SNOT approach, but for an ocean, that doesn't work to well. I've looked into tiles and plates, which I'm going to try next, but do any of you guys have any other suggestions? I don't know how big this will be, but it won't be huge. Just enough to fit a truck on shore, a helo in the sky, a go-fast in the water, and maybe a USCG CB-OTH in the water. Thanks for your help and I am open to any suggestions!

Wow, that is quite a cool creation to build! Please feel free to post your works-in-progress and especially the finished product. As far as water goes, I would try this technique: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/381603 (this is actually one of my creations). You can see that I used many 1x1 round studs to make the water effect.

I can't wait to see the work-in-progress and the final finished product! Good luck and I hope this helps!

Quoting BrickBuilder7622 .
Will do! I'll also look into the studs, that was one of my main ideas. I would mix solid blue, trans blue, clear, and solid white to create wave effects. Hopefully...
